Jack
Russell
Jack Russell is Great Britain’s leading personal development
coach in both an indoor and outdoor environment and has worked
in the field of Human Potential and motivation since 1986.
Jack has a degree in Outdoor Recreation with Psychology, is
a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and a Master Practitioner
of Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
He is a Level 5 Kayak Coach and has obtained
many outdoor qualifications. Jack has coached many of the
country’s top outdoor coaches from Plas Y Brenin, Glenmore
Lodge, Plas Menai, AMI, and the BCU. Jack's passion is to
make Britain a more positive nation.
Anna
Thompson
Anna joined PDC in July 2004 as Development Manager. She has
a degree in Business Studies and a HND in Outdoor Training.
A qualified and talented coach, Anna is passionate about team
and leadership development in the outdoors and she puts together
many of the PDC programmes as well as coaching on the courses.
Since joining PDC Anna has been instrumental in the development
of Jack's book, 'Don't Tell The Bumble Bee'.
Jane
Gilpin
Jane joined PDC in October 2003. Her background is in personnel,
development and marketing and she has worked for some of the
West
Country's top businesses implementing systems and
developing marketing strategies. Jane is passionate about
the outdoors and works on many of the PDC programmes. She
has travelled extensively in South East Asia, South America,
and Africa and has recently returned from a development visit
to Sierra Leone.
Philippa
Arding
Philippa has worked with Jack for over 18 years and is an
inspiration to everyone she works with. Having been involved
in the design and delivery of personal developement, management
training and
leadership
courses since 1985, working with an impressive portfolio of
international business clients, Philippa is a extraordinarily
talented and experienced coach with an amazing ability to
bring out the best in people. Her expedition experience includes
leading young people and professional clients trekking in
Kenya (Mt. Kenya), Pakistan, Poland, Peru, Tibet (Everest
base camp), Ecuador and Morrocco. She is a keen climber, enjoying
British rock, Alpine mixed, and Scottish winter climbing,
and is a qualified Climbing Instructor and European Mountain
Leader. She is a keen environmentalist, cycling from Alaska
to Brazil in 1988/89, studying projects for the WWF and was
also a very successful amateur jump jockey for 17 years.
Rob
Pitt
Rob's passion for challenge and the outdoors was fuelled by
expeditions
and deployments to
the Arctic environment of Norway, the Transylvanian Alps of
Romania and the jungle of Brunei during his service in the
Royal Marines. Since leaving he has worked in the field of
Personal Development, working internationally with businesses
to create high-performance. He has been involved in the design
and delivery of high-performance team development and leadership
programmes for organisations including Diageo, Barclays, Woolwich,
Smirnoff, Denholm, DML, De La Rue, Reuters and others. Outside
the world of business, his experience includes climbing classic
British rock routes, Scottish Winter and Alpine mountaineering
and sport climbing in Europe. Rob is a qualified Climbing
Instructor and Mountain Leader. He is also a keen and active
kayak paddler and coach. Rob runs his own management training
business - Inspiring Adventure.
Paul
'Bullet' Turner
Paul Turner, AKA Bullet, is an exceptional outdoor motivator
and coach. He was a Royal Marine for 10 years before becoming
involved in the personal development industry. Bullet has
worked with PDC for 5 years and also has his own business,
Canoe Tamar leading expeditions in the Tamar Valley.
Phil
Way
With a background rooted in a rich variety of personal and
professional
experience, Phil has
been involved with education,
training and development in a variety of contexts throughout
his
career. He possesses a potent mix of relevant academic
qualifications and 'down to earth', practical skills. A growing
interest in the business environment led to involvement in
developing tailored learning experiences. Initially working
in a supportive role on leadership and team programmes, Phil
underpinned his theoretical training and increased his knowledge
of corporate training and development issues. Now he has a
wide range of practical experience gained with consultancies
working in a variety of multinational companies. Phil runs
his own management training company 'Way Ahead Training and
Consultancy'.
